The American Horror Story is among many projects that have helped solidify television's current obsession with anthology shows, but now TV execs will pay tribute to the OG of suspense and horror with a new series based around the life and work of Alfred Hitchcock.
According to Variety, Universal Cable Productions is currently in production on a new series called Welcome to Hitchcock. The series is being produced with the full cooperation of the Hitchcock estate.
The series will "reimagine classic tales from the iconic filmmaker," telling one season-long story at a time.
