Earlier this week, Hugh Grant let it slip that Black Mirror creator Charlie Brooker was going to give us a new mockumentary about the year 2020. Now, Brooker has confirmed his new Grant-starring Netflix project, revealing both its title and a teaser trailer.
On Brooker's Twitter, he revealed the project will be appropriately titled Death to 2020. He also shared a teaser for the mockumentary, which is a glitchy, VHS-appropriate clip. Unfortunately, it's only 10 seconds long, though.
Death to 2020 is also seriously scant on details, with the teaser only telling us it's "coming soon." We're also still not sure if it's a film or a series, à la Brooker's Wipe and Cunk. But our educated guess is that this will be his 2002 answer to his year in review Wipe series.
Previously, Grant said, "Charlie Brooker has written a mockumentary about 2020. It's for Netflix." He also stated he would be playing "a historian who's being interviewed about the year. I'm pretty repellent, actually! And you'll like my wig."
So for now, it's still a big stay tuned.
