The long-awaited Breaking Bad movie has finally been announced. It has a title, release date and synopsis, and you can find all of those details here.
Rumours had swirled over a movie since last year, and just last week the show's Bob Odenkirk said the movie had been shot. It turns out he was telling the truth, because Netflix has officially announced the spinoff movie.
The film is called El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie. It was directed by Vince Gilligan and will see Aaron Paul reprise his role as Jesse Pinkman. As an official synopsis puts it, "In the wake of his dramatic escape from captivity, Jesse must come to terms with his past in order to forge some kind of future."
At this point, though, it's unclear what other Breaking Bad cast members may be returning for the film. This includes both Bryan Cranston (Walter White) and Bob Odenkirk (Saul Goodman).
El Camino: A Breaking Bad Movie will hit Netflix on October 11. You can watch a brief teaser for the film below.
