Telefilm is spotlighting Canadian filmmakers with a new Canadian Movie of the Week series exclusively on the Apple TV app. Each week, one Canadian film will be featured on the Apple TV app and available to rent for only $0.99. The campaign kicks off March 30, and runs until after Canada Day.
The first film being highlighted is The Rest of Us, running from March 30 to April 5, followed by Les Boys, running April 6 to 12. Next in the spotlight are Wander, running from April 13 to 19, and Canadian Strain, running from April 20 to 26.
Shot in North Bay, ON, Aisling Chin-Yee's The Rest of Us follows a divorced mother and her daughter as they contend with living in the same house as her ex-husband's second wife and daughter following his unexpected death, leaving them homeless.
