Netflix is officially setting up shop in Toronto, but the streaming service truly set up shop in our lives long ago while we spend countless hours drooling on ourselves as we watch a seemingly endless swirl of content. Of course, March 2019 will be no different, as our streaming masters have offered a plethora of treats for us to passively engage with while we tune out the horrors of modern life.
Among them is Jeff Tremaine's highly anticipated Motley Crüe biopic The Dirt. Based on the book of the same name, the trashy flick looks like a hell of a lot of fun thanks in no small part to its cast, which includes Machine Gun Kelly and Pete Davidson. Look for the movie to drop on March 22.
That's just the tip of the iceberg in terms of Netflix's original film slate. Other movies dropping from the company include Budapest (March 1), River's Edge (March 1), The Boy Who Harnessed the Wind (March 1), Your Son (March 1), Juanita (March 8), Walk. Ride. Rodeo. (March 8), Triple Frontier (March 13), Burn Out (March 15), Dry Martina (March 15), Girl (March 15), Paskal (March 15), Mirage (March 22), 15 August (March 29), Bayoneta (March 29) and The Highwaymen (March 29).
Of course, a movie can be viewed in one sitting. But there's Netflix's original series, which can also be viewed in one much longer session. The streaming hub has plenty of those dropping this month too, including Cricket Fever: Mumbai Indians (March 1), Larva Island: Season 2 (March 1), Losers (March 1), Romance Is a Bonus Book (streaming every Saturday beginning on March 2), Patriot Act with Hasan Minhaj: Volume 2 (streaming every Sunday beginning on March 3), Secret City: Under the Eagle: Season 2 (March 6), The Order (March 7), After Life (March 8), Bangkok Love Stories: Hey You! (March 8), Bangkok Love Stories: Innocence (March 8), Formula 1: Drive to Survive (March 8) and Immortals (March 8).
That's hardly all, however, with other series including Shadow (March 8), Terrace House: Opening New Doors: Part 6 (March 12), Arrested Development: Season 5 B (March 15), If I Hadn't Met You (March 15), Las muñecas de la mafia: Season 2 (March 15), Love, Death & Robots (March 15), Queer Eye: Season 3 (March 15), Robozuna: Season 2 (March 15), Turn Up Charlie (March 15), YooHoo to the Rescue (March 15), Green Door (March 16), Carlo & Malik (March 22), Charlie's Colorforms CIty (March 22), Delhi Crime (March 22), Historia de un crimen: Colosio (March 22), Most Beautiful Thing (March 22), ReMastered: The Miami Showband Massacre (March 22), Selling Sunset (March 22), Ainori Love Wagon: Asian Journey: Season 2 (March 28), Osmosis (March 29), Santa Clarita Diet: Season 3 (March 29), The Legend of Cocaine Island (March 29), Traitors (March 29), El sabor de las margaritas (March 31), and, last but not least, Trailer Park Boys: The Animated Series (March 31).
There's also, of course, a plethora of comedy specials, including Jimmy Carr: The Best of Ultimate Gold Greatest Hits (March 12), Amy Schumer Growing (March 19) and Nate Bargatze: The Tennessee Kid (March 26).
Are you still conscious? If so, you'll have to knock yourself out with the non-exclusive titles hitting Netflix. They include A Monster Calls (March 1), Dog Days (March 1), Eighth Grade (March 1), La La Land (March 1), PAW Patrol: Season 5 (March 1), Space Jam (March 1), The Boy in the Striped Pajamas (March 1), The Dark Knight Rises (March 1), The Girl on the Train (March 1), Disney's Christopher Robin (March 5), Life (March 5), Forgetting Sarah Marshall (March 6), Happy Gilmore (March 6), Lucy (March 6), Hunter X Hunter: Seasons 1-3 (March 8), Timeless: Season 2 (March 11), Smurfs: The Lost Village (March 20), Kubo and the Two Strings (March 23), Jane the Virgin: Season 5 (March 28), Suits: Season 7 (March 28), McQueen (March 29), Love, Rosie (March 31), Snowpiercer (March 31), The Giver (March 31), Tyler Perry's Madea's Witness Protection (March 31) and Tyler Perry's The Single Moms Club (March 31).
Since you greedy, greedy streamers can't get enough content in your eyeballs, you'll probably be sad to hear that Netflix is getting rid of some titles too. You've got until March 5 to watch A Million Ways to Die in the West, Bridesmaids, Fear, National Lampoon's Animal House and Neighbors. Then you've got until March 18 to watch Disney's Beauty and the Beast.
Finally, on March 31 you need to say goodbye to Blade: Trinity, Clerks 2, Hairspray, Hanna, Lucky Number Slevin, Men in Black 3, Party of Five: Season 1-6, The Back-Up Plan and The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King.
