Some may know Jonah Hill as a crude goofball from comedy flicks like Superbad or 21 Jump Street, while others may have taken notice of his more mature Oscar-nominated roles in movies like Moneyball and The Wolf of Wall Street. Now, though, he's seeking to reinvent his career once again by getting into the directing game.
The actor will make his directorial debut in a forthcoming film called Mid '90s, which tells the coming-of-age story of a young skateboarding dude growing up in Los Angeles.
Hill won't be starring in the project, but he did also write the script. He's previously written for projects like 21 Jump Street, Allen Gregory and The Adventurer's Handbook.
The upcoming movie will be produced by Scott Rudin and Eli Bush with A24 Films.
