After successfully launching a real-life version of the fictional Mooby's fast-food joint from Kevin Smith's classic 1999 film Dogma, the filmmaker/restaurateur has announced plans to start slinging burgers right here in Canada.

Smith will bring the pop-up restaurant to its newest location in Etobicoke, ON, with plans to service the Greater Toronto Area through SkipTheDishes and in-person later this month.

"It's happening! I've always dreamed of bringing the legendary Mooby's to Canadian fans and am thrilled to work with Kitchen Hub and SkipTheDishes to make that happen," Smith said in a statement.

According to a release, the Toronto iteration will "replicate the restaurant fans have come to know and love" with a menu featuring Mooby's signature dishes like the Cow Tipper and Hater Totz, as well as the restaurant's vegan alternative, the Beyond Cow Tipper. In addition to the regular menu, the Toronto pop-up also promises dishes with extra "Canadian flare."

The Mooby's pop-up will go live for in-person pick-up on November 12 at 11:30 a.m. with SkipTheDishes orders available November 26 through December 9 from 11:30 a.m. to 10:00 p.m. daily.
