After just learning Phoebe Waller-Bridge was joining Harrison Ford for the upcoming Indiana Jones 5, we now know Mads Mikkelsen will also co-star.
The news comes via Deadline, which reports the Danish actor is the latest to sign on for the hugely anticipated return of Indy. So far, though, it's unclear who Mikkelsen will play.
As previously reported, James Mangold will be directing Indiana Jones 5, which will be produced by Steven Spielberg. While plot details are vague, the film is expected to start production this summer.
At this point, the film's release date is currently July 29, 2022.
Recently, it was also announced that Mikkelsen would also replace Johnny Depp in the Fantastic Beast franchise.
