Earlier this year, we called Justin Simien's Netflix series Dear White People "a refreshing and vivacious college comedy that explores race and society without ever feeling heavy-handed." Now it's been revealed that the series will return for a second season.
As the Independent reports, the second season will hit the service in 2018 and will run for 10 episodes.
The publication also notes that Yvette Lee Bowser will return as showrunner, while cast members Logan Browning, Brandon P. Bell, Antoinette Robertson, DeRon Horton , John Patrick Amedori, Ashley Blaine Featherson and Marque Richardson are all expected to return to the cast.
Dear White People follows a group of African-American students at an Ivy League university. The series was adapted from Simien's 2014 feature film of the same name.
