According to Deadline, Cage will play a fictionalized version of himself.
The meta storyline involves Cage getting paid $1 million to attend a superfan's birthday party, where he has to "become a version of some of his most iconic and beloved characters in order to extricate himself from an increasingly dangerous situation."
Tom Gormican will direct the film, and he wrote it with Kevin Etten.
Kevin Turan will produce, along with Cage and Mike Nilon's Saturn Films.
Cage's other upcoming projects include Primal and Grand Isle.
