It's going on three years since we last saw the Hot Priest bidding adieu to Fleabag, and while series star/creator/producer Phoebe Waller-Bridge has had her fair share of acting and writing gigs in the interim, what we've really been waiting for is a new series from the triple-threat. That era has nearly come to a close, as we've now gotten word that Waller-Bridge's official TV follow-up is in the works.
As the first part of a three-year deal with Amazon, Prime Video and the showrunner have just officially inked a deal for an as-yet-unnamed comedy series. The Emmy winner will start shooting the project by the end of the year. Further details remain under wraps for now.
Aside from Fleabag, Waller-Bridge's recent credits include co-writing No Time to Die, acting in and producing Vicky Jones's Run, and starring in the forthcoming Indiana Jones movie, among other things. She was also briefly attached to the Donald Glover-starring remake of Mr. & Mrs. Smith, but exited the project last year.
