Ridley Scott's 'Raised by Wolves' Renewed for Season 2

Just two weeks out from the premiere of Ridley Scott's HBO Max series Raised by Wolves, the platform has signed on for Season 2.

Written by Aaron Guzikowski, the sci-fi series follows two androids who set about raising atheistic children on a faraway virgin planet. While the second instalment has yet to receive an official release date or confirmation of cast, viewers can expect to see more of the show's futuristic action and apocalyptic cinematography.

Sarah Aubrey, head of originals at HBO Max, offered her blessing on the series' return in the following statement:

When I think of Raised by Wolves, I think of artistry; artistry in crafting a compelling storyline, artistry in the out-of-this-world production design, special effects and cinematography, artistry in our actor's portrayals of these memorable characters, and artistry attached to the legendary work of Ridley Scott, Aaron Guzikowski and our phenomenal crew.

This chart-topping series beautifully weaves together Ridley's hallmarks of sci-fi and horror while offering fans one of the most original storylines they've seen in some time. I can't wait to see what's in store for Season 2.

The Season 1 cast included Amanda Collin, Abubakar Salim, Winta McGrath, Travis Fimmel, Niamh Algar, Felix Jamieson, Ethan Hazzard, Jordan Loughran, Aasiya Shah and Ivy Wong.
