What a difference a day makes. Just yesterday (May 23), TransLink announced that Vancouver's transit announcements would be made by none other than actor Morgan Freeman. Then, today, eight women went public with allegations that Freeman sexually harassed them. Fortunately, TransLink may have found a replacement from a little closer to home.
Taking to Twitter, Vancouver journalist Stephanie Ip pointed out that a number of readers asked why Visa hadn't hired a Canadian voice actor for its TransLink promotion. As a result, she suggested Seth Rogen:
It was a funny enough sentiment, but it appears that Rogen might be down for the gig. He replied, saying that he'd happily step in as Freeman's replacement:
Maybe Rogen can step up to the plate and rerecord all of Freeman's voice work. That's a version of March of the Penguins we'd love to see.

Lots of emails today were along the lines of: "What, there wasn't a Canadian actor who could've done the job?" After some thought, I do have a suggestion: @Sethrogen. I would happily listen to him announce my transit stops all day, every day BUT ONLY IF IT COMES WITH THE LAUGH. https://t.co/o0v5FWlocj

Yo if they need a replacement now let me know.
