Moordale forever

Though everyone's favourite horny British teens are graduating in September, it doesn't mean that we'll have to say goodbye to them forever. Netflix's Sex Education creator Laurie Nunn has hinted that she may revisit the show in a different capacity once it's ended.

Speaking with Tudum, Nunn said that once she takes a break from the show and its wealth of well-rounded characters, she may be willing to revisit their universe in a spinoff.

"I'm definitely taking a break and thinking about other things," she said. "But Moordale is a really rich world, and writing about teenagers is always a lot of fun. So, I think that there's always potential for more to be explored in that world."

Nunn also opened up about how the show's upcoming fourth season became its last, saying that during its writing, "it just started to feel very clear that the stories were coming to an end, the characters were being left in a place that I felt really good about it. I felt happy for them, and I felt like I've said everything that I want to say with these characters at this time."

Sex Education's final season drops September 21. Despite its impending end, new cast members continue to be added, including Dan Levy.
