Monster hit Stranger Things has been teasing the show's second season for months now, and Netflix has officially revealed that it will finally hit the streaming service on October 27.

NME confirmed the announcement this morning (July 11), and unveiled a new poster for the series. It features Lucas, Dustin, Mike and the newly reunited Will on their bikes, staring at an ominous flash of lightning in the distance. Check out the poster up above.

A previously released trailer for the second season of Stranger Things showed the kids decked out in full Ghostbusters gear, as the normal world begins to turn upside down. Another teaser from last summer also hinted at upcoming episode titles like "The Boy Who Came Back to Life," "The Storm," "The Brain" and "The Lost Brother."
