The Nickelssance ('Backissance?) is still in full swing, and now, we have details on an official documentary about Hanna, AB's finest.
After six years of filming, Hate to Love: Nickelback will make its premiere at TIFF. It was directed by British filmmaker Leigh Brooks, and will span the band's entire career — including their backlash and infinite memeability, of course.
"Nickelback is one of the most successful acts in music history — they're also the number one band haters love to hate. This intimate portrait surveys the Canadian stadium rockers' rollercoaster career," the TIFF website's description of the doc reads.
The trailer for Hate to Love is part-chronological history, part-goldmine for vintage Nickelback memes (ahem, Nickelbad, Nickelderp, Nickelcreed). Watch it below.
