There's no denying that Steven Spielberg's Reese's-munching, Coors-chugging alien dude was one hell of a great character in the 1982 classic E.T.: The Extra-Terrestrial, but we've always wished we could revisit the little dude. While it's quite unlikely that we'll get more E.T. any time soon, we can now imagine how great it would have been if the movie were transformed into a '90s sitcom.
The ingenious video editors over at Mashable have paired scenes from E.T. with the theme song of Perfect Strangers, and the result is a wonderful (if imaginary) '90s sitcom full of pratfalls, knowing glances and, one can only assume, heart-warming life lessons.
We're seriously obsessed with E.T. the sitcom. Hell, maybe some CBS producer will take note and make this thing a reality.
