Stranger Things fans looking for a night out under the glow of Christmas lights while getting wasted on Eleven-inspired cocktails (and probably raiding the waffle aisle at the supermarket on the way home) will have to find somewhere else to go now that Netflix is putting a stop to a Chicago pop-up bar inspired by the hit sci-fi show.
Last month, a temporary tavern dubbed "The Upside Down" sprang up at Logan Square, but despite its wild popularity, fans won't be able to return for a Season 2 viewing party come October. Netflix has sent the organizers (owners of nearby bar Emporium Chicago) a cease-and-desist letter with a friendly warning not to operate beyond their initial six-week run.

Unless they want to feel the wrath of the Demogorgon, the pop-up organizers should dry up the bar by their initially intended closing date of October 1.
