Watch Jordan Peterson Cry over Olivia Wilde's "Incel" Comments

"It's very difficult to understand how demoralized people are, and certainly many young men are in that category"

Remember when Don't Worry Darling director Olivia Wilde blasted former University of Toronto professor and current blowhard Jordan Peterson by telling Maggie Gyllenhaal that she based Chris Pine's "terrifying" character on him, referring to him as a "pseudo-intellectual hero to the incel community"? Jordan Peterson does.

"This insane man," as Wilde refers to him, went on Piers Morgan Uncensored this week to cry about the director's comments, whining about people piling abuse on incels — a group of men famous for producing mass murderers like Elliot Rodger and 2018 Toronto van attacker Alek Minassian.

When Morgan asked Peterson if Wilde's comments befitted him, the author responded, "Sure. Why not? You know, people have been after me for a long time because I've been speaking to disaffected young men."

He continued, getting all dewy-eyed:

It's very difficult to understand how demoralized people are, and certainly many young men are in that category. You get these casual insults, these incels — what do they mean? These men, they don't know how to make themselves attractive to women who are very picky, and good for them. Women, like, be picky. That's your gift, man. Demand high standards from your men. Fair enough. But all these men who are alienated, it's like they're lonesome and they don't know what to do and everyone piles abuse on them.

Hear Peterson's Kermit voice crack up in the excerpt below.

When Morgan probed Peterson about why this topic was making him emotional, he responded, with another tear in his eye, "It's really something to see constantly how many people are dying for a lack of an encouraging word."
