With the fate of the world once again at stake, the first full trailer for season three of The Umbrella Academy — the hit Netflix series based on the comics co-created by My Chemical Romance's Gerard Way — has arrived.
Produced by Keith Goldberg, the 10-episode season — slated to hit the streamer on June 22 — will see stars Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, David Castañeda, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Robert Sheehan and Aidan Gallagher reprising their roles as the misfit family.
Our first brief look at the season came this past March with the release date announcement, and introduced us to the crime-fighting, parallel-universe siblings in the Sparrow Academy. They're led by an alternate version of Number Six (Justin H. Min) who is, as said perfectly in the words of Raver-Lampman's Number Three, "a complete dickhead."
Picking up right where they left off, the Umbrella Academy must team up with the "smart, stylish and about as warm as a sea of icebergs" members of Sparrow Academy to help them return to their own pre-apocalyptic world.
With mind-controlled birds, alternate dimensions and sibling rivalry afoot, the Umbrella Academy officially has a lot on its plate.
