With nine collaborations between them already, director Wes Anderson and actor Bill Murray are about to hit the double digits: Murray has signed on to star in Anderson's next film. No, not The French Dispatch, which recently had its world premiere at Cannes Film Festival — well, okay, that one too, but also the one after that.
As per Variety (ironically), the currently-untitled project will also star The French Dispatch's Tilda Swinton. The film is shooting in Spain but, according to Swinton, "It's not about Spain."
Anderson and Murray have previously worked together on The Grand Budapest Hotel, Moonrise Kingdom, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Darjeeling Limited, The Life Aquatic with Steve Zissou, Isle of Dogs, The Royal Tenenbaums and Rushmore.
We'll have to stay tuned for more details on the new film, but based on the meme fodder of those Cannes photos alone, Timothée Chalamet better be the next star to sign on.
In the meantime, you can check out the newly-shared first clip from The French Dispatch before it hits theatres this October.
