Late last year, 20th Century Fox issued a teaser trailer for the upcoming X-Men: Apocalypse, and now that the movie's release is drawing nearer, a full-length trailer has been unleashed.
It introduces us to the powerful super-mutant Apocalypse, providing some backstory and a brief glimpse into what is sure to be an action-packed face-off. The title character reawakens after thousands of years, recruiting a gang of his own mutants that the X-Men will fight through dramatic fiery explosions and colourful laser beams to try to defeat.
The film was directed by Bryan Singer and features a slew of stars like James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Jennifer Lawrence, Oscar Isaac, Nicholas Hoult, Rose Byrne, Tye Sheridan, Sophie Turner and Olivia Munn.
