Although he may have already seen every kind of vagina, 50 Cent finally had a novel experience yesterday (August 28) when he was forced to cancel his Phoenix concert due to extreme heat.

The Final Lap tour stop in Arizona's capital city was scheduled for tonight at Talking Stick Resort Amphitheatre, but will now be postponed to a later date to avoid heat-related complications.

The temperature had reached 116 F (or, properly, above 46 C) when the rapper made the call. He has assured fans that he'll be back soon and ticketholders can get a refund at point of purchase if they would like, but that doing the show in this heat — especially combined with the pyrotechnics in his live set — would be "dangerous for everyone."

50 posted some photos of said pyro, alongside an excessive heat warning weather alert for the neighbouring city of Glendale, when he announced the news on Twitter.

According to Rolling Stone, recent hot-weather concerts put on by Snoop Dogg (in Houston, TX) and Ed Sheeran (in Pittsburgh, PA) have led to multiple attendee hospitalizations for heat-related illnesses. As the climate crisis rages on and floods Burning Man, this is another new reality that touring musicians and their crews, as well as concertgoers, have to navigate.
