When he's not spouting off vaguely homophobic rants or shouting out his honeys on Twitter, rapper 50 Cent has been using the social networking platform to hype his upcoming fifth album, Black Magic. However, the project has been shelved due to a disagreement with his label, Interscope.
Last night (July 26), 50 unloaded on the label for not promoting his work hard enough or setting up a proper release date for the long-in-the-works project. "Man I'm not releasing a album i can't believe interscope is this fucked up right now. I apologize to all my fans," he wrote. "I will work with other artist on there projects but I will not put out another album. They dropped the ball with me one time too many."
Then, as if to get back at Interscope, 50 Cent promised to leak a new song from Dr. Dre's upcoming Detox album today (July 27). "I LOVE DRE but I'm putting his next single psycho out tomorrow at 2:00," he wrote. "You're gonna love it its a big song I just don't think it deserves a great set up sense they can't seem to get it right when it comes to me."
So you might want to keep an eye out for a new Dre track on the ol' interweb today.
