This past weekend, a Spanish publication broke the news that a new record from iconic hip-hop group Public Enemy would see release next month. Now, the speculation has been confirmed to be true.

As HipHopDX reports, Chuck D, Flava Flav and company will deliver a new record titled Nothing Is Quick In the Desert next week. It will arrive on July 4 as a free download, and stands as the followup to 2015's Man Plans God Laughs.

Chuck D reportedly confirmed the news from Croatia, where the group are on tour. "The record business is appearing like a desert," he told HipHopDX. "But the music has a life if you look at it right."

Since delivering Man Plans God Laughs, Chuck D has preoccupied himself with new supergroup Prophets of Rage, while Flava Flav had an awful experience on The Eric Andre Show.
