Onetime Sleepless Nights frontman AA Wallace recently signed with Toronto's Culvert Music, and now the Maritime-raised songwriter has released a single for the label: "Harlequin," which also has a new video.
The clip was directed by Jeff Miller and it's a strange one to say the least. In it, a balaclava-wearing dancer boogies along with the twinkly, funky electro-pop track. His outfit, meanwhile, serves as a green screen for colourful, VHS-style animations.
Watch it below.
Wallace is apparently planning to releasing more music in the coming months with a full-length to arrive in the fall. He will perform Toronto gigs at Handlebar on April 18 and at the Magpie on May 23.
