Self-styled "mythological occult metal" unit Absu have yet to follow-up their merciless 2011 self-titled disc Abzu, but it's possible you'll get to hear tracks off the still-just-rumoured Apsu this spring when then the Dallas-bred band head out on their "North American Connexus Conjuration" tour.
Absu start the month-long trip April 4 in Philadelphia, but a number of Canadian stops are scheduled along the way. As you'll see in the tour schedule down below, the band will stop in Montreal, Quebec City, Toronto, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver before wrapping things up stateside in May. Apparently, the decades-old outfit will perform two sets each night, which will span the entirety of their career.
As previously reported, the group took part in last year's Adult Swim Singles Series. You can check out their thrashed-up contribution, "Hall of the Masters," in the video beneath those dates.
Thanks to Brooklyn Vegan for the tip.
