Hip-hop heavyweight Action Bronson was in Alaska to film a new episode of his VICE series Fuck, That's Delicious when he was hospitalized and forced to undergo emergency surgery.
The rapper didn't specify exactly what was wrong, but he posted a hospital selfie on Instagram where he explained that he needed emergency surgery.
It hasn't been the greatest year for Bronson, who had his NXNE show cancelled over controversial lyrics and was recently sued for an uncleared sample. Stay tuned for updates.
UPDATE (10/29, 3:20 p.m.): According to Bronson's rep [via Pitchfork], the surgery was "due to complications from ongoing hernia issues from Bronson's powerlifting days. He's doing great and is in good spirits."
