We haven't heard much from Montreal's Ada Lea (a.k.a. Alexandra Levy) since she released the lovely one hand on the steering wheel the other sewing a garden in 2021, but today she returns with a new single called "hometown (edit)."
According to her Twitter account, Levy is currently working on her third record, but it's unclear if "hometown (edit)" will make the final cut. The song is a low-key, full-bodied slice of pop rock that Levy recorded with Phoebe Bridgers bandmates Marshall Vore and Harrison Whitford.
It comes attached to a video directed by Ana-Maria Espino Trudel that finds Levy painting a large canvas and wandering the streets and bar patios of her neighbourhood.
