Bluesy Southern soul rockers Alabama Shakes have previously announced plans to release a new album called Sound and Color. Ahead of its arrival, they've given us another taste with the new song "Future People."
The three-minute track is built on a laid-back beat which slowly stomps through the song. That serves as an ideal backbone for its sprightly guitar interplay, up-and-down dynamics and Brittany Howard's powerful voice, which stays in a falsetto for most of the song.
Listen to "Future People" below. Sound and Color will arrive on April 21 via ATO.
