Juno and Latin Grammy winner Alex Cuba dedicated his tune "Sarah," from his fifth studio album Healer, to his business partner and wife of 20 years Sarah Goodacre Puentes. Now, Exclaim! is giving your your first look at an equally heartfelt video for the song.
The clip blends animation and real-life footage in eye-catching fashion, jumping between Cuba and his band performing the track in a stairwell and the primary storyline of two lovers.
In a statement, Cuba had this to say about "Sarah":
Written for the love of my life, I'm just happy that it has turned into most of my fans' favourite song on Healer. The video represents beautifully the gracious honesty of the song, and I am very happy to have my bandmates joining me there. Produced by the Field, Inc, the video was shot in Montreal and directed by Dan LeMoyne, who, inspired and moved by the intimacy of the song, created a simple yet appealing story of a young couple of have been separated for a while and travel around the city to finally meet.
Healer is out now through Cuba's own Caracol Records. Watch the video for "Sarah" in the player below.
