Next week, Alex Zhang Hungtai will bring back his beloved Dirty Beaches project to release a new instrumental LP called Stateless. As it turns out, that will be the last release from Dirty Beaches, as Hungtai has decided to end the project.
While he wouldn't give a concrete answer as to why he was dismantling the project, the artist said that Dirty Beaches had come to an end. While he wasn't clear about what he'd do next, he promised that he would still release new music under different aliases.
