Repo'd

BY Stuart GreenPublished Nov 1, 2000

Former Dillinger Four guitar slinger Sloan tones down the gutter punk and fires up the indie rock. This twin-cities consortium sounds like a cross between Superchunk and Drive Like Jehu with tinges of Fugazi and U.K. Subs thrown in for good measure. The quartet is all about pop hooks, dissonant riffery and off-tempo stutter that really defies categorisation.
