We've known for a while that a documentary about late UK soul singer Amy Winehouse has been in the works, and despite disparaging comments about the flick from her family, Amy is still scheduled for a July 3 release in the UK.
Following the release of the movie's trailer, a new clip from the film has emerged online. In it, we see footage of Winehouse in the studio and hear Nick Schmanksy (a member of her management team) reminiscing about the songwriting process. We also get to see the handwritten lyric notes for "Cherry," which eventually appeared on Frank.
