The wait for the return of Twin Peaks is starting to feel frustratingly long, no matter how many soundtrack reissues and John Malkovich reenactments we get. But while we continue to sit tight for the show to arrive, the series has given us a new teaser to hold us over (or perhaps frustrate us even more).
Today (September 30) Showtime has shared a new teaser for Twin Peaks, and it comes featuring the show's beloved soundtracker Angelo Badalamenti. As you can see in the ghostly teaser down below, he's found playing the classic "Laura Palmer's Theme" all amongst the sycamores.
As previously reported, Twin Peaks is set to return in 2017, with Lynch apparently directing all the new episodes. Badalamenti will also soundtrack the series once again.
For now, though, check out the the latest tease below.
