Annihilator

Yeah, ten years of mainly crappy Annihilator albums (well, Carnival Diablos ruled!). This double-DVD is an extensive walk through this Canadian thrash metal band's past, with live clips, videos and laboriously detailed interviews. The title is off-putting, as this digs into the band's entire past, not just the past ten years, which, as previously stated, have mainly been hell for the band's recorded output. There is lots of fun, perhaps too much to sift through, but why the hell not? And there are some classic thrash riffs here. Highlight: a clueless TV show host asking Annihilator main man Jeff Waters if he actually likes his own music. Classic. (SPV/Fusion III)
