As we previously reported, cerebral party funk outfit !!! are set to release their new album, Strange Weather, Isn't It?, on August 24. They have now announced a worldwide tour starting in September to support the release.
While the band have lined up a huge list of U.S. dates, there's only one Canadian date on the tour: September 26 in Toronto at Lee's Palace. This means you may have to make the trip south, if you're keen.
Strange Weather, Isn't It?, which is being released by Warp Records, was recorded in Berlin, NYC and Sacramento, and is the band's first full-length release since 2007's Myth Takes. Since then, the band have replaced members John Pugh, Justin Vandervolgen and Tyler Pope with vocalist Shannon Funchess (of Light Asylum) and drummer Paul Quattrone (of Modey Lemon).
You can listen to the first single of off Strange Weather, Isn't It?, "AM/FM," in the video below.
