A new track from the late rapper Mac Miller has surfaced on SoundCloud. While the exact details of the song are a bit unclear, "The Sun Room (Somewhere in Space)" was apparently produced by Thundercat, and you can stream it below.
Since Miller's passing last year, posthumous work from the rapper has been making the rounds including a collab with 88-Keys and Sia, a verse on a Free Nationals song, and a standalone track called "Benji the Dog."
But now "The Sun Room (Somewhere in Space)" has emerged.
The deeply spiritual three-minute track was initially shared by SoundCloud user LEAK TH.IS. Some of the lyrics draw comparison to his 2013 song "The Star Room," leaving some to speculate that it might have been a throwaway demo for that track.
Miller's estate has yet to comment on the release.
