Young, snotty and loud, the Apers are back with their blistering three-chord punk rock. Picking up where Screeching Weasel left off when they disbanded, the Apers douse the torch with high-octane gasoline and light it ablaze with the ferocity, youth, and power that Weasel appeared to lack in the end. From this point forth one can expect songs about celebrating life, girls gained (lost, worshipped from afar), introspection, and the damn backpacks that emo kids carry everywhere. The Buzz Electric is sarcastic, silly, refreshing, easy to turn up to "eleven at any time of day, and a true breakaway from their mediocre self-titled debut.
