As Montreal band Arcade Fire unleashed the sophomore shot heard round the music world, some recoil was certain, but few dissected the music scenes obsessions and short attention spans like Untucked Films short about seeking tickets outside the bands five sold-out Manhattan church shows (www.untuckedfilms.com). Trading sexual favours, lamenting web page refresh rates and two hilarious hedge fund brokers whose stock in trade is hot buzz and limited access all feature in this five-minute excursion into what people will do for a glimpse at a rising star. The coda that takes gentle jabs at film codas in general, and music blog BrooklynVegan in particular, is some sweet icing.
