Architects to Take 'Daybreaker' on Canadian Tour

UK metalcore act Architects are ready to drop their upcoming Daybreaker LP June 5 through their North American label Distort, and they will be crossing the pond later this summer to support the set on a Canadian tour.

The Brit outfit will make their way to Canada this August. The band land in London, ON, August 15 to play the city's Rum Runners, and they'll make their way out west for the rest of the 13-show trek. Joining Architects on all dates are Toronto's Structures and Halifax's A Sight for Sewn Eyes. You can check the schedule down below.

As previously reported, Daybreaker breaks the mould for Architects by dealing with broader, world-minded topics than their older, more personal material.

"The lyrics on our previous records have covered personal issues but I think it's time we opened ourselves up to the bigger picture," guitarist Tom Searle had said in a statement. "We're all so self-obsessed. If you're singing about your girlfriend breaking up with you, then you don't have any problems. Most people on planet earth aren't lucky enough to call that a problem."
