L.A.-based crooning weirdo Ariel Pink has been continuing his prolific lo-fi pop experimenting in his Haunted Graffiti series for some time now, including the new, Exclaim!-approved "Can't Hear My Eyes" single. Whether or not that out-of-print gem will make it onto his next LP is yet to be seen but there is a chance that Pink will bust it out on his upcoming North American tour.
The two-month jaunt kicks off with a hometown gig opening for his buddies in Animal Collective. From there, Pink will head north on the West coast with Montreal moog rockers Duchess Says, eventually making his way to Canada, with dates in Vancouver, Toronto and Montreal in May. After Montreal, Pink will ditch Duchess Says and hook-up with Brooklyn's Vivian Girls for just over two weeks of April dates in the U.S. that will conclude at Coachella on April 19.
