Earlier this month, Tim Lambesis, frontman of long-running metalcore outfit As I Lay Dying, was arrested for allegedly trying to hire an undercover detective to murder his estranged wife. Then, in court, he pleaded not guilty to the charges despite a recording being held against him. Now, he's been released from prison on a $2 million bond.
Alternative Press reported that Lambesis was no longer listed as an inmate of the Vista Detention Facility, where he had been listed as an inmate until yesterday (May 30).
Lambesis' bail was recently lowered to $2 million, having previously been set at $3 million. When reached for comment, the San Diego County Sheriff's Department said they could not comment on Lambesis' case at this time.
