At the Drive-In Reunion "Might Happen"

If you're one of those people who finds Sparta a little too boring and the Mars Volta a little too insane, you were probably a huge fan of '90s post-punk monsters At the Drive-In. When they split and formed those two projects, they were at the top of their game, and left a huge wake in their absence. Fortunately, however, Mars Volta front-man Cedric Bixler Zavala now hinted an ATDI reunion may be in the cards..

In an interview with Drowned In Sound, he said, "We've been making amends with a lot of the members and having some really good talks with them. And we've been trying to get our financial business in order because a lot of people have been ripping off that band really badly... as far as the business side goes. I wouldn't mind it. Y'know, it might happen, we just have to iron out a lot of personal things. A lot of it we've dealt with already and I've apologised for a lot of things I've said and the way it ended... we'll see what happens."

So, while possible, it might be a while before At the Drive-In reappear on the touring circuit. Still, if you can handle the prog, the Mars Volta have their previously announced new album Octahedron dropping on June 23.
