In an unlikely fashion, Minneapolis rap duo Atmosphere are heading down the road less traveled by entering into the children's book publishing world with an additional component to their new record, When Life Gives You Lemons, You Paint That Shit Gold.
The Tome, which was written by band member Slug, will be released with their new LP and is available as of April 21. This children's hardbound book is a total of 40 pages in length and includes sketches and lyrics to Atmosphere's new songs (perhaps teaching kids how to paint that "shit gold?). To add a familiar element to this odd release, a live DVD of past shows will be available in a limited edition package.
