Austra

"Forgive Me" (video)

Shadowy Toronto synth-pop band Austra released their album Olympia back in June, and they've just announced "Forgive Me" as the collection's latest single.

The Claire Edmondson-directed clip for this bouncy electronic cut is set in a park at night, where we see some raunchy sex acts occur under the cover of darkness. Singer Katie Stelmanis said in a statement, "A night vision camera captures life in a dark park. Among the hidden corners and leaf-covered hideaways, people purge and absolve their sins through sexual liberation. We highlight a romance between a man and a women who seek forgiveness from each other: the only forgiveness that is of any importance."

Paper Bag Records will release the song as a digital single on November 26 along with B-sides "Hopeless Place" and "Holy Place."
