BADBADNOTGOOD

"I Don't Know" (ft. Samuel T. Herring) (video)

Back in October of last year, BADBADNOTGOOD released a second collaborative cut with Future Islands' Samuel T. Herring titled "I Don't Know." Now, they've treated the standalone track to a video.

Directed by Will Mayer, the clip opens with a defeated man crying inside of his car, with the waterworks soon leading him somewhere more comforting.

In a statement, Mayer had this to say about the video:

This film was more or less a ballet to the five stages of grief. Denial, anger, bargaining, depression, and acceptance. Our protagonist fights the battle that we have all fought, only to come out the other side. He ends neither free nor victorious....but alive. Because overcoming grief is never about victory — it's about perseverance.

Herring had previously teamed up with BADBADNOTGOOD for the Toronto outfit's IV LP, appearing on "Time Moves Slow."
