BADBADNOTGOOD

'BBNG Live' (album stream)

BY Philip James de VriesPublished Nov 23, 2011

Jazz-bopping, Odd-Future covering Toronto trio Badbadnotgood have released a live album capturing their performance at the Red Light in Toronto back in September. The record, simply titled BBNG Live, is now available to stream in its entirety.

BBNG Live cuts their performance into 14 tracks. As a whole it is a mix of jazz runs and "swag" samples that serve to replace the space usually occupied by band banter. BBNG Live captures the essence of the performance well -- their set sounds as though it could have taken place during the true "birth of cool."
