Bahamas to Play Canada Coast-to-Coast on North American Tour

Afie Jurvanen and co. will perform 19 dates across the country

Afie Jurvanen's Bahamas released Sad Hunk in late 2020, and with gathering restrictions finally easing, the Canadian artist has scheduled a massive North American 2021-2022 tour in support of the record.

Kicking off this September in Richmond, VA, Jurvanen will offer support for Nathaniel Rateliff & the Night Sweats for his first few dates on the trek called "Still Sad Tour." He'll make his way throughout the States for the majority of October, before heading back home for the Canadian leg's first night in Victoria on November 17.

Jurvanen will go coast-to-coast north of the border, making stops in 19 Canadian cities. These dates include his previously announced performance at Toronto's Meridian Hall on December 1, as well as a two-night run at Halifax's Rebecca Cohn Auditorium on January 13 and 14.

Select dates on the Canadian run will see support by Madison Cunningham and Ariel Posen.

Sad Hunk arrived through Brushfire Records on October 9. The album also features guitarist Christine Bougie, drummer Don Kerr, bassist Mike O'Brien and vocalist Felicity Williams, as well as guitarist Sam Weber, who will be joining Bahamas on select dates of the tour.
