Last month, Vancouver crusties Baptists announced that their self-titled debut seven-inch would be released by metal powerhouse Southern Lord. If you were wondering what the young band have in store for you, wonder no more. The release's "Good Parenting" is now available through the label's website, and it's punishing, to say the least.
The track whips things up into a shit storm straight out of the gates via thunderous, double-time thrash beats, crunchy guitars and Andrew Drury's unholy, larynx lacerating shrieks. It's punk just as it should be: fast, loud and frightening.
You can download "Good Parenting" here and order the seven-inch at the Southern Lord site.
